| In order to reclaim access to the sea, Saint-Nazaire is undertaking an ambitious urban project: the Ville-Port project. This urban transformation will be accompanied by shops. Apsys has provided the perfect answer to the problem: Ruban Bleu will connect the present city-centre to the port and become Saint-Nazaire’s new animated thoroughfare. A covered shopping street will be materialised by a lifeline built in wood, like a deck. The street will have a « traditional » fashion-health-beauty care offer, in addition to a culture-leisure concept, with sport and home-decoration and restaurants and cafés with theme bars specially conceived to reinforce the attractiveness of the site. The scheme will also include housing and hotels developed by specialised partners. |
